As we were about to end the year, there was a visit from one of my eldest cousin sister from Rajasthan. It was her bday as well as my parents anniversary, add to that it was weekend and we had time on our hands to celebrate all these events in our collective life. Kid loved to travel so it was a no brainer and we decided that the destination has to be Revdanda. Close easy to travel. My spouse and me sat out the whole night figuring out the best enjoyable stay and accommodation we can find in and around Revdanda.
Travel day
We began our journey on13th at around 11am from home and had a few stoppages for breakfast. We halted at Penn at a family hotel and had necessary food as it was going to take about 2 hrs more to reach the location. We were put up at Silvanus Forest Retreat based in Chaul and Chondi-Kihim region.
Based on Chaul near the Chondi Temple is the Silvanus Forest Retreat. We had booked 2 rooms where our 2 families were put up. It is a retreat about couple of clicks from the beach but it was worth it. Post completing the formalities of check-in the hotel staff mentioned to us that the vehicle goes till the rooms that we would be staying in.
Since we had reached the place closer to evening, we decided to spend time at the beach and post that have dinner outside and then come back late to the hotel room. We also had to find a cake shop for parents anniversary the next day.
Time on the beach - Evening of Day 1
Initially the kid had plans not to play in the water at the beach but as soon as he saw it he jumped all in.
We all woke up early, had our breakfast and then headed straight to the beach
Post check-out process, we moved to Shree Rameshwar Temple is Chaul. Here a funny incident happened as to look into the temple pond, our kid ran and then my spouse ran behind him and fell into the pond. As she was trenched, I kept her smart watch on one of the halogen lights of the pond and forgot it there. The story doesnt end here. Will continue the watch story after showcasing the Revdanda fort.
Post viewing Revdanda fort, my wife and me realized that we did not collect the watch kept on the halogen lamp and we had spent good 90mins at Revdanda. I was very hopeful that we will get the watch as it was kept at a location that no one will visit that often, so just to try our luck we went back to the Shree Rameshwar temple and we found the watch exactly where we had kept it for drying. What luck :)
On the way back we took the Pali Ganapati road and visited the Ganesh temple on our way back.
