Trip to Revdanda Beach - 2 Day 1 Night

2 Day Trip to Revdanda BeachπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸš—πŸš—πŸ–

As we were about to end the year, there was a visit from one of my eldest cousin sister from Rajasthan. It was her bday as well as my parents anniversary, add to that it was weekend and we had time on our hands to celebrate all these events in our collective life. Kid loved to travel so it was a no brainer and we decided that the destination has to be Revdanda. Close easy to travel. My spouse and me sat out the whole night figuring out the best enjoyable stay and accommodation we can find in and around Revdanda.

Travel day
We began our journey on13th at around 11am from home and had a few stoppages for breakfast. We halted at Penn at a family hotel and had necessary food as it was going to take about 2 hrs more to reach the location. We were put up at Silvanus Forest Retreat based in Chaul and Chondi-Kihim region.

Silvanus Forest Retreat
Based on Chaul near the Chondi Temple is the Silvanus Forest Retreat. We had booked 2 rooms where our 2 families were put up. It is a retreat about couple of clicks from the beach but it was worth it. Post completing the formalities of check-in the hotel staff mentioned to us that the vehicle goes till the rooms that we would be staying in.

No sooner did we open the door of the room, the kid jumped in and started his 2 day vacations then and there

Since we had reached the place closer to evening, we decided to spend time at the beach and post that have dinner outside and then come back late to the hotel room. We also had to find a cake shop for parents anniversary the next day.

Time on the beach - Evening of Day 1
Initially the kid had plans not to play in the water at the beach but as soon as he saw it he jumped all in.

Time on the beach - Beginning of Day 2
We all woke up early, had our breakfast and then headed straight to the beach

Team building activity

Rameshwar temple Chaul and Revdanda Fort
Post check-out process, we moved to Shree Rameshwar Temple is Chaul. Here a funny incident happened as to look into the temple pond, our kid ran and then my spouse ran behind him and fell into the pond. As she was trenched, I kept her smart watch on one of the halogen lights of the pond and forgot it there. The story doesnt end here. Will continue the watch story after showcasing the Revdanda fort.

Post viewing Revdanda fort, my wife and me realized that we did not collect the watch kept on the halogen lamp and we had spent good 90mins at Revdanda. I was very hopeful that we will get the watch as it was kept at a location that no one will visit that often, so just to try our luck we went back to the Shree Rameshwar temple and we found the watch exactly where we had kept it for drying. What luck :)
On the way back we took the Pali Ganapati road and visited the Ganesh temple on our way back.

And with that we come an end to yet another trip and blog on our journey. Hope you enjoyed the pics. Until next one, see you soon. Happy reading.

Trip to Hyderabad - Travelogue - Day 4

Trip to Hyderabad - Day 4

Today we were going to start one of our long days. We had to adjust our plan for Charminar and Chowmahalla as it was Friday on 31st Oct and its a holiday in Hyderabad for these places and hence we had to plan a visit on 1st Nov as we were to leave for Pune on 2nd Nov once we check out. So after breakfast we were off to Golconda Fort.

Golconda Fort
The travel from hotel to Golconda was 12kms and it would take us about 30 to 45 mins. The road leads from old city and hence we had to plan accordingly. What was surprising is that the outer gates of Golconda Fort is now a traffic controlled signal as the city has grown, you can say it has reached to the gates of Golconda.

We reached the base of Golconda at around 11.45am and post parking we moved towards the fort exploration. The cost for entry is INR 25 for Indian Citizens and the kids travel for free. We did not opt for any guides to tell us about the fort as it has all the necessary markings of the significance of any place on the fort.

Images above are the encravings of Kancherla Gopanna, widely known as Bhakta Ramadas who was imprisoned in the dungeons of the Golconda Fort for 12 years during the 17th century.

The prominent temple inside the Golconda Fort in Hyderabad is the historic Sri Jagadamba Mahankali Temple. There were lot of school children visiting the fort that day.

The visit to Golconda was awesome and I was back here again after I had completed by 10th grade exam.

Visit to Chowmahalla Palace
We left the Golconda Fort at 1.30pm IST and reached the Chowmahalla Palace by 3pm IST. The road leading to Chowmahalla and Charminar are very narrow and you have to patiently also bare the people who do not follow the traffic rules.

There is a old saying, when in Rome do like the Romans, so when in Hyderabad, do like the Hyderabadi's, hence clicked pics in the areas traditional Nizami attire.

With that it was a wrap for the Hyderbad's Chowmalla Palace. We had been in Hyderabad for 3 days and had yet to visit Charminar. The area surrounding Charminar was very crowded and parking was a challenge, hence we decided to head to hotel and come back again via rickshaw. We also had to visit the Birla temple at Lubini park which was pending hence the last plan in Hyderabad was to visit temple and move to Charminar and have dinner and shopping together.

Birla temple and Charminar

View of the Legislative Assembly and Lumbini Park along with Hussain Sagar and Necklace Road.

After the Birla temple visit we left for the Charminar at 7.30pm IST. We knew that it would take us around an hour or so to reach Charminar hence we booked a rick and travelled there.

Charminar
We had planned to have some tea and snacks at the nearby Nimrah cafe, then do some shopping and have our last dinner in Hyderabad near Charminar.

That is all folks for this time, hope you would enjoy reading this Hyderabad experience.
